"Lisa's Dilemma on Comments"

Got to surf the net today... first my daily newspapers then some blogs. Went to Watson's blog and read his Nov.28 post about Global Warming. Titled " an inconvenient truth". I say scary thought but that's the way the world is going nowadays. Coincidentally, while watching OPRAH at 4 PM it was Sen Al Gore who was her guest expounding on this . Hoping with her exposure of the problem we'll get to slow down or minmize the process.

I was reading Lisa's blog for dollars and saw that she was a bit in a quandary trying to hack out this code. Read on and i quote " Also, if you notice, there are no comment texts displayed on Blogger for current posts, just a link stating "# comments" but you comment texts are dislayed in full when you go to previous posts. This bugs me about Blogger. I have been trying to find out how I can hack this code for the past 2 days but have been unsuccessful. I really want comment texts of current posts to be visible to all readers, just like in a Word Press blog."

Please .... Go to your SETTINGS, click COMMENTS....there...click YES on the question SHOW COMMENTS IN A POPUP WINDOW? this of course will put comments in a POPUP window for all or everyday comments ...where you in turn can reply to. then all the way down below after all the questionnaires on COMMENTS .... don't forget to your SAVE SETTINGS.

Hope this Helps. Laters.

Photo taken is that of the Camp John Hay Entrance( Circa1961) what used to be main gate near the Nevada Hotel, Military Cut-Off Road, and South Drive in Baguio City, Philippines thru the courtesy of Bill Fabianic's collection.

Hi Joe! Happy Holidays! I love your photo with the John Hay main gate.

Baguio is so so so full of visitors this season, as usual, that I am not able to bloghop or do much webwork. All photos you sent me via email did not load so can you resend them again please? I am designing the Baguio photo gallery where I will include my collection of past and current photos and would like to include everyone's nostalgia photos too!

I am happy to see that your blog is coming along quite nicely! This is so great! I promise to visit more often starting January:)

ps. i wanted the comments to display collapsed and in full per current post like connie's wordpress blog then. but now she uses excerpts for her front page, which is also great.

pps. you may want to check out our friend's blog (her name is ida) at http://blogista.blogspot.com. Ida is connie's batchmate and is pretty amusing.

hello lisa! it's an honor to get a visit from my mentor.

don't you worry about not bloghopping lately... business comes first especially your case. Baguio is so seasonal that you have to give it your all managing the House. A good Baguio photo gallery will be a plus for your website. nostalgia and pictures go well.

aaah my blog don't count on it to be a regular thing. now that my idol KA URO's blog http://a-pinoy-in-nz.blogspot.com
is quitting after 268 posts. i'll be bloghopping & commenting as usual.

meantime let me check ida's blog.
have a Happy New Year!
